Hi! Thank you for your message. I really hope this device will help us…
Did you have (or do you have) hyperacusis? I have about 4-5 tinnitus tones now, but what is really killing me is the hyperacusis… I’m having now a second setback in 2 months and even listening to my own voice is difficult. Listen to artificial sounds hurt my ears. I never felt so hopeless in my life
im so freaking exhausted of this its been a decade 4 me. if we are ever treated ima need about another 3 decades just to heal from this trauma 4 realz.
Luckily i dont have hyperacusis, i think i had the shock thingy for a split second, also have 4 tones BOTH ears, had reactive 2 times. i feel you 100 percent. can we get disability for this cause we need a law passed ASAP.
@KoolKat Man, you are lucky you don’t have H or reactive T anymore. Without these 2 I would live something close to normal life :/
May I ask you what caused your T?
@Samy Acoustic trauma via Listening to loud music at 90db daily for hours + living in NYC + clubbing, I can go on and on, but it was the earphones that did me in. but in my defense i had no freaking idea TINNITUS was even real. they never taught us about this crap. ATA failed us. its so unfair. had to leave my friends family and dreams behind and move somewhere quieter. BTW you from the U.S?
Oh and dont forget im only an accident away from what you guys have or worse. KNOCK ON FREAKING WOOD. i have anxiety and fear like a mofo. others like to say its normal I say no ill say its more tolerable for sure but my life is done. spikes new tones randomly uughh its torture. If susan shore comes through for us my life will be back
Hi @sakrt ! Sorry the delay, I didn’t receive a notification about your message. My motor skills are still the same as before (amen). Drawing and painting even in silence make me forget about T. They are great distractions.
