I am fertility as well between my first and second child. I was fortunate because it all pre-dated tinnitus.

There’s not much I can say except that I am thinking of you and you are
    in my thoughts and prayers.

@Forever hopeful thank you so much. With being just over 3 months in I know I have time to heal and get to a much better place, but it doesn’t make the waiting and worry any better/easier.

@ErikaS Dealing with either one. Infertility or tinnitus, is beyond difficult. I can’t imagine having to deal with both at the same time.

I’ve had tinnitus on and off in the past. I can tell you that typically gets better. However I am in an unknown Spike right now that I’ve been in for 24 hours. So I’m not feeling that way at the moment.

Do you know what caused yours or at least suspect?

Hi I had/have reactive tinnitus I developed 4 tones it took a few months but most of the faded away I’m still left with a reactive electrical hiss that is aggravated by fans mostly I’m going into 6 months I didn’t see improvement till about 5th month or so

@Forever hopeful ear infection in R ear brought on the first sound in R ear which is a high electrical hiss that became reactive. Then bilateral multi tones developed (4-5) and how they present is always changing. I JUST realized I cannot hear 13khz and up in my R ear at the same low level I can in my L. So these last 3 months I’ve been told no hearing loss, clearly only accounted for up to 8khz.

Thank you @Sammy0225 for your message, I so appreciate the encouragement that it can get better. Just realized today at home my R ear doesn’t hear 13khz and above as well as my L ear. So being told “no hearing loss” for the past 3 months was wrong. I hope this doesn’t change my chances of improvement.

@ErikaS, when they say you have no hearing loss. It just means you have no hearing loss in the ranges that are specific to speech. You may have hearing loss above that. I don’t know how old you are but it comes with age. They don’t test for it because they don’t have any benchmarking for it. So how are you score is not always that relevant if you have no reference point. It sucks either way.

Thanks @Sammy0225 , right back to you. Month 3-4 may be the worst, I am hoping for a turn around at month 5-6. Hope your little improvements you’ve seen lately continue !
