Same here! It would go away when I was around noise or when I plugged my ears. Slowly I noticed the humming getting lighter and lighter till eventually it was a low hum then gone. It comes back still but for like 3 or 4 days.

Do you think this is mechanical thing? Something like a spasm? For me this can't be normal tinnitus.

@seppl mine got worse when my anxiety was high I actually think it went away after not caring anymore I stopped paying attention to it and it eventually faded away

Mine often starts in silence. First intermitted then after a while constant. Sound like a carengine. Its most bad at midnight. And i am hearing bass sounds a little bit bassier in that ear. So the cause of yours is stress and anxiety?
I am scared that i have something they call the venous hum.

Yes definitely understand mine sounded like a car idiling outside my home I kept looking outside the window to see if anyone was parked outside also had bass distortions when watching movies some moments of bass sounded bassier. Not sure if it 100% anxiety but it also could have been fluid behind the ear during that time I was constantly getting sick

Exact same thing here dude @Sammy0225, i often go check if i actually have some visitor outside lol. Can you tell what exactly helped with it besides time?

@Jackson Brady unfortunately it’s back I spoke to soon hope it goes away again also wine glass ringing is back also

When it comes and goes, it can be gone for good someday.
