@Sammy0225 would you say it's safe to let them check the ears with their tools like hearing tests etc ? Jan 3, 2023

I understand and yes please try everything to control the anxiety and panic once you do this everything else will fall into place as for me I go to a quiet park and walk around I also always tell myself it could be worse. Just don't let doctors slap hearing aids on you that's not what your ears need right now.

@Sammy0225 onset was March 2022, and it took probably around 4-5 months. This one reacted to different things though, mostly burping and yawning or water running. So strange

@Biaxca I’m glad to hear you have appointments coming up I hope they bring relief! My T started 7 months ago it became reactive after I tried suctioning wax out. I developed 4-5 different tones afterwards that seemed to be reactive to sound eventually I also got TTTS doors closing would startle me and my ears spasm

Also noticed silverware clanking and dogs barking would also do the same thing. At about 3 months I developed Drone humming sounded like a car idiling outside my house. Then around 5 months I noticed the volume started dropping on the high pitch tones 6 months most of the tones faded away including the car idiling one. I now have a hissing tone And behind that a low ringing.

Hey Biaxca, so sorry to hear you’re dealing with TTS and tinnitus. Was the microsuction experience painful? How long was it done in each ear?

I just saw your comment now @ErikaS I had it 3 times in 2 week span it was only painful first two times when the wax wasn't wet enough when i had used eardrops for one week the last microsuction wasn't painful at all it was just loud it was maybe like a few mins per ear each time, I'm not doing my best to get treatments to help this because it's truly catastrophic

@Biaxca ugh I am so sorry, that is a lot of work in the ear they should not have done all of that so many times. Are you dealing with reactive Tinnitus?

    Tinnitus Since:
    11/2022
    Cause of Tinnitus:
    Unknown
I got tinnitus on 2nd December 2022, I had pulsatile tinnitus first on 8th of November after I had put my finger in my ear and as soon as I took it out I had PT, used waxsol and it created a compacting of earwax blocking hearing so had earwax removed by microsuction 3 times over a span of 2 weeks, immediately after the second round of microsuction I developed Tonic Tensor tympani syndrome and developed constant tinnitus one week after third microsuction. First time I ever experienced tinnitus was for a few mins after the microsuctions and the last time I had it, it never went away. Considering VAD if off label medications etc and stem cell therapy dont help me, I don't want to have these unbearable conditions for a long time.
