Tinnitus was suprisingly calm this morning, same loud tones blasting away but the quieter noises were more in the background. I'll take it.

Hi man ... Did you try TMS
(Transcranial magnetic stimulation) I read so many essays about this. My tinnitus is exactly like yours it's getting worse everyday. It is in my head and in my ear. Did you try intratympanic injection with lidocaine and dexamethasone?...you can try lorazepam it worked for me especially for ringing in brain

I have similar noises like you, 2 in my left ear and one in my right. They are very low pitched and are the most intrusive sounds by far, always fluctuating several times per second. I can make one of the fluctuating sounds in my left ear go silent if i like tap my teeth a couple of times, starts again after a few seconds. Repeat the teeth thing and its silent. Very strange.

Sorry to hear about the loss of such great progress, the flu is a bitch. The hissing sounds are the least intrusive in my opinion, sounds like a dream to just have them over everything else. I hope it goes back to just being a slight hiss for you man.
