Once again, I am going to mention Bill Bauer on this one. He said that if the pitch is changing it's a sign that the nerves/hair cells are still 'partially' working. So could be a positive indicator for the future.

Same here, we are very similar except I don't have hyperacusis.

you should focus on the positive part, my friend. It will reset for you every day. Soon you will get used to it. And then.. poof.. it will not change during the day.

@NYCGuy definitely are similar I start the morning with 2 tones and by night time I have 4 reactive ones. People freak out cause I don't mask them but I've known no other way. It's hell. The hyperacusis is just icing on the cake I think some guy named Allen on here also had this type which scares me cause he took the final step. Hoping I can fight this

To reference what @Jupiterman said above, I absolutely experience pitch changing and in and out nonsense like hair cells are trying to figure their shit out, this is why I am looking into stem cells & exosomes. I do believe it could be of big benefit if you have partially working hair cells, from a healing & anti inflammatory aspect. Don’t any1 come for me it’s just my opinion given my specific situation ! Lol

@ErikaS Everyone definitely is entitled their theory! I've been trying to walk 4 miles a day at about a 130 heart rate in hopes of delivering more oxygen to the cochlea.

its good to explore every option or possibility. @ErikaS id even do handstands all day if it got more blood to my cochlear and it benefitted me lol

Drinking plenty of water thins the blood a little, making it easier to enter and travel better in the tiny blood vessels in the cochlear.

Someone who reported success with stem cells said they drunk loads of water.

@SamRosemary the winding up thing? Yea like right now it's relatively low but by tonight it'll be screaming by bed time. I spike daily. My T has a bandwidth of how much noise it can tolerate. So let's say I go to a loud grocery store right now, well I pretty much used my bandwidth and screwed with loud Tinnitus till it resets over night

Do you use noise filtering plugs when you go the supermarket? @Sammy0225

That's a shame they don't do much for your sound tolerance :-( I wear them out and about especially in noisey supermarkets, I swear the trolleys that the staff push the stock around in are so loud and they seem to follow me too :-P

@Sammy0225 yes about spiking through. There was never any comfort in wear ear plugs for me. Tinnitus could be heard louder especially with spiking with them in, wish it wasn’t the case but it was like that for me too from the start

@Sammy0225 nopes I don't work in a supermarket. I just use my ear plugs the filtered ones when food shopping as it takes the edge off all the noise.
