I see the ReSound app has more sounds than the Widex Zen app. I was just listening to them on my iPad.

@just1morething I don't understand the noise thing. Is it just supposed to distract the ears, right? I've tried it and it helps some but I usually end up taking a Xanax if it's real bad and zone out on Facebook. =§ Maybe I'm just not doing it right, IDK.

@Lurius Forgive me if I’ve already asked this, but how did you end up with tinnitus and how long have you had it?

It's idiotic isn't it. The brain creating a sound for no useful reason, then proceeding to see that sound as something dangerous and important, leading your life to be ruined.

The first time I got it was in spring of 2016, but it was quickly resolved after a chiropractor did some "moves". The 2nd time, which is what I'm still suffering from, was in August 2018, when I did a valsalva maneuver after having had a common cough for about a week. I believe the maneuver was the trigger, but what is maintaining it is probably a nasty concoction of anxiety PTSD, loneliness, some hearing loss etc.
