Did a doctor put you on an antibiotic?

Hope you get well soon. I got a ottis externa right now thanks to using foam plugs. The pain is annoying and T is spiked. Keep your ear/ears clean

Ant idea what caused the infection?

I had a mild cold/congestion all week. Was feeling a lot better but then the ear infection hit. I did get antibiotics yesterday. My T is so loud on that side it masks my other ear!

Antibiotic should clear it up. Word of advice here is not to take any antibiotics that end with -mycin as those could have potential ototoxic effects

Sorry to hear that. Did the infection and spike go away?

@ECP I think the infection is gone but some fluid remains. Spike is slightly less but have a new tone now. Hoping it goes away.

@Ngo13 do you also notice your ears popping more and feeling a wierd pressure when breathing hard sometimes? My pain is fading but T randomly spikes and i feel a blocked sensation
