Don’t think it does. I run (which I think you have done lately) I find I get a temp spike from running. It’s tricky in Ireland as it’s so windy. So I wear hats or buffs to cover my ears. But coffee I don’t think does or i haven’t noticed it if it does
I find that if I'm over stimulated from caffeine that I overreact to my T; not that I note any increased no. of spikes or anything. Decaf allows me to still waste £5 every morning without the increased perception of T, I find.
I hear you @Joshua Macleod my bank manager thinks I have shares in a coffee chain. It’s part of my self-compassion a latte on the way to work every morning
It's not coffee that spikes some people's tinnitus, it's caffeine.
And if you are one of the lucky ones whose tinnitus responds to caffeine in this way, you will probably find the same effect is achieved with the use of any other stimulant also.
Additionally, the (genetic) factors that decide whose tinnitus will exhibit such a reaction and whose tinnitus won't, are seemingly as random as the ones that decide whose tinnitus will be affected by the weather.
