I think it is, is this because you took muscle relaxer? @ErikaS
Progesterone I think also plays a part on the ears(you mentioned it in another post) . When mine is up/down can't remember which, is when my morse code/reactivity becomes more noticable. Have you noticed a correlation between progesterone and your Tinnitus?
@Strawberryblonde I think it’s a cumulative of things. Returned from Cancun 2 weeks ago after a week of being there, then started muscle relaxer last Tuesday (stopped it this past Monday), also my cycle is coming in 3ish days. Perfect storm I guess! :/
Like @MindOverMatter confirmed, traveling can def. cause temporary spike/setback. So I was dealing with increased sensitivity from that, then about 5 days in with muscle relaxer, sounds started going haywire w/ more increased sensitivity. First time I’m experiencing this and it not resetting in sleep so just trying to know what to expect & move through it calmly. Thank you all for input <3
@ZFire yes it’s like my reactivity/sound sensitive T is turned up a notch (when it is already sensitive at baseline!). Saw you were in quite the spike for 3 weeks. So happy you moved out of it! Enjoy camping, it looks amazing there!
@ErikaS@Strawberryblonde It’s interesting you mention the effects of progesterone. I got my IUD removed in early January after 6 yrs of having it, and around that time is when I noticed TTTS and H symptoms (already had T). I wonder if it’s related somehow.
I’m just so scared if the muscle relaxer is what truly spiked me to what I’m experiencing now, which it seems it was that, did it make a permanent change :( only took it for 5-6 days. And it was the one med most said improvement noted or didn’t change anything at all so I figured it was safe enough to try.
@PennyCat My T can get more sensitive/more intrusive when my cycle is coming, but nothing like what I am experiencing now. Hopefully this works it’s way out.
Women who a pre-menopause/experiencing hormone changes can experience T.
