      Hello Kay. How u been feeling these days? I too have a hissing in my left ear. Loooong story to say the least. Can you hear your t in noisy environments? Yours is probably from the meds you are taking, and YES, that can be reduced.

        Find your inner strength and accept, at least for now, that this is your new silence. I sit in a quiet room and sing out loud, then yell, silence! And for a few minutes, I hear nothing. Try it. Sometimes I hum to distract myself. Whatever it takes to get by, do it!
