Well, it could be worse. Mine was the same as yours. It's a bad situation. Got to remain hopeful though.

Yeah it could have been a 100 I suppose. But that's the limit. I have a permanent headache now. Doctors say it could last the rest of my life, maybe another 40 years. I am pretty low right now.

Sorry to hear that. I don't think Dr.'s should make those kind of comments. Stay positive! Seek solutions.

They said there is no known cure, they can't find the cause. They recommend I try mindfulness and do things to take my mind off the pain. No medication offered aside from anti depressants which I refused.

Does your T cause pain or are you talking about the H? I was catastrophic also years ago. Some AD's are bad, some okay. I don't like SSRI's. A small amount of a AD could help or maybe a mood stabilizer...gabapentin,lamictal etc. Mindfulness may be worth trying. ETD should be looked into also and TMJD.

I like my SSRI Paxil; not a fan of Benzos; I hear great things about Lamictal. Imo not all doctors are equally brilliant; unless you've already consulted with all the best specialists don't give up hope that a cause can be found.

Sorry to hear. Hang in there. .how on earth is an AD to help with pain? There are many meds for chronic headache. Also psilocybin is being used to combat and relieve chronic headache and nerve pain if you're adventurous and can find "researchers" willing to help. Take what docs say with a grain of salt. They don't know enough to suggest anything.

I've been having success with Klonopin and lexapro. The Klonopin which I was so afraid of is actually helping.
