I'm feeling better today. Maybe it was an ear infection. I prayed a lot and God gave me strength.

Sadly that happened to me too. I was getting better and finally habituated and then it got worst. Since 2015 it has been difficult. Do you have hyperacusis too?

Yeah, salt and MSG can definitely affect our tinnitus. Maybe not everyone, but it seems quite common. Some BP meds help remove salt from our bodies.

My tinnitus is very much related to my sleep cycle too. Awakening from a nap or overnight sleep almost guarantees loud noise for me. Very distressing.

No loud noise or ototoxic medication. I have been taking Levothyroxine for my thyroid the last year and a half. But I thought that was helping my T. So I don't know what's going on.

I take levothyroxine too .175 mg. My thyroid was overactive so had iodine treatment in 1994. I was told to take levothyroxine on a empty stomach recently and by itself. Maybe altering the dose would help? Better to ask a Dr. though.

My T is very cyclical and I know that after especially loud days, easy soft days are coming. That gives me hope in the short term future.
