Hey! I came across some of your posts recently. You say you follow Julian Cowan HIll. I was wondering how your T started, how loud it was, and how long you had it before it backed off? Do you have mostly silence now even when looking for it?

Most of the time, I don't have tinnitus, even when looking for it. However, looking for it can actually bring tinnitus back for me...not immediately but if I sit there with my fingers in my ears for a minute or two, straining to hear...it will start ringing again - sometimes quite loudly.

Started in October 2015, multiple triggers (loud gigs, childhood ear infections, horrible anxiety), heard it nearly constantly - the noise was masked only by the shower/fan. It started backing off in early March...after about 6 weeks of following Julian's advice.

I still get it when stressed/angry/anxious/tired and after eating foods containing wheat. When it comes back, it can last for several days. The only thing which (for me) makes it back off again is yoga, plenty of rest and a session of cranial osteopathy.
