I am married with 3 children currently living on the Gold Coast. Would be really interested in knowing if people suffering from Menieres/vertigo have other family members with it too. My Mother and my sister also have Menieres with slightly different symptoms. My mum is practically deaf now with tinnitus, my mum was about 73 when she had a cochlear implant and can now hear. My sister was 44 when she was diagnosed with Menieres, I was 33 when finally diagnosed after vertigo attacks on and off every few years. After a very violent attack 2 years ago that lasted a week and having regular attacks days apart I am now tinnitus free and my hearing is better. Plenty of rest, low salt diet, try to stay stress free and keep hydrated seems to have helped me so much.Interact
