- Music? Antibiotics? Infection? idk
15 as of now. I like music from RH to SRV. Listened to a 3 hr concert no ear plugs, had ringing. Got T one month later. I have no hearing loss according to docs, but some inflammation. Due to the one month onset and my care for my ears (that concert was a fluke) I'm guessing acne oral antibiotics could've caused T. But ototoxicity is very arbitrary for some medicine so who knows.
I only notice T during silence, or with earphones on. Annoying and makes me try to hear for it. I can make it louder with jaw clench. Also I use invisalign so maybe it's TMJ related as I clenched my jaws ever since I got these retainers.
T bothers me less 3 weeks in. Still want it gone. I highly doubt it's hearing loss/music that caused it now. Less anxious and back to listening to music and my hyperacusis seems to have gone away. I'm guessing my H came from my health anxiety. The brain is powerful...Interact
