I've been suffering from tinnitus since 2011. It's been pretty much on and off since then until a couple of months ago. Now I have good days and bad days. On a good day, I can go out to the grocery store and buy food and interact with people. On a bad day, I'm in my room all day and can't talk to anyone. Sudden noises hurt my ear and at times I can hear my heart beat whooshing in my ear. There are days where the noise is so unbearable that I just lie in bed and cry.
No one at work understands my condition except for my best friend who is the best listener. People think I'm making this all up but I'm not!!! I've had to take nearly 2 months off work and now colleagues are starting to complain about me. Now my boss wants me to go see a "company-approved" GP to get a diagnosis. I've been to 4 different doctors already and it's so frustrating.
I'm suffering badly and I want this to end because I can't teach. Whenever I'm in the classroom I feel sick and dizzy and I want to puke. One morning I woke up and my room was spinning and my blood pressure dropped. Luckily my daughter was around so she helped me.
Please help me! I badly need some advice on how to deal with this.Interact
