I got T the same way. Some say we are more prone to damage...but I dont know for sure

By the time we will be old they might have very efficient treatments, so I am not worrying about that.

I agree with rubenslash and maybe a hearing aid will help us at old age.

You're only 20. In 30 years, technology and medicine already might have practical and effective solutions for T (along with deafness). Best not to worry about things in the far future and just focus on the present, which has enough troubles as it is.
