I havee been dealing with PT for about a year now. At first I did not know what was going on. Several trips to PCP and multiple rx's later I was told I had fluid on my ear drums due to allergies. It progressivly got worse and this past April they sent me to the ENT. After exam and hearing test he told me I had PT and there is nothing I can do for it. It is so bad now I am constantly saying "huh?" because I can't hear. Also I have to take sleeping meds to knock me out! This is a miserable way to live!! I have enough issues with my disability I do not need this.
Nobody in my family understands that this affects everything. I just need to hear from others who know what it is like and try to understand why I have this.Interact
