I think I need to stay away from TT for a while.

Quiet day again. But I can detect some very annoying noises while watching TV or listening to music. Is this T or me being hypersensitive?

Listening to some Black Sabbath(via speakers ofc) and feeling depressed about all those awesome concerts I won't be able to go.

Then I wish you continued improvement over the coming months. Out of interest, where did you have this treatment and what did it cost?

I see. Will you continue with further rTMS sessions or do you think that for you, the treatment has reached its limits? A reduction of 98% is quite amazing. I would call that a cure!

Actually I've completed the sessions a week ago. They give 10 sessions only, and if you feel ok, it is ok, if you don't feel any better still, then it means it will not be effective anyways.

Yes, amazing right? I was even able to read in total silence..But the problem is, it didn't last so long...But thats the reality with my T. It has always been like this. Also, they said the impact of those sessions will continue for 1,5-2 months and the brain will try to rewire itself in this period. So, it is so soon to say something good or bad.

@Melike, if your friend's rTMS was so successful, a possibility I don't doubt, then what are you waiting for?

I already had 10 rTMS sessions. Although it seems like it decreased my T to a level of nearly %98) silent for a while, it still fluctuates and I was improving ,even if it was little by little, before rTMS sessions, so I can't be sure if they worked or not.

Feeling inceredibly lost. Not just because of the T tho. I feel like I won't be able to take over my life again at least for a looong time.

I genuinely believe there will be effective treatments in 5 years. I personally talked to 2 people , their T disappeared with rTMS sessions. 3 people, their T decreased %70-90t they habituated quickly. They are now trying to increase the effectiveness of rtms and individualize it.

And I talked to them not in an online place, I talked to them face to face, have their contact numbers and continued to talk after treatments. They are still doing great.

Do you get residual inhibition? My T is being a moron right now also, one tone seems to have increased, which has brought back "the fear!" but I'm just keeping things in perspective. They do say changing tones is a positive, so fingers crossed!

Yeah, a few times I got residual inhibition and I was scared to death. But that was right after I tried notched music therapy, I gues..Not sure and so tired of all of these !!

The hardest thing is not being trapped in that fear and reminding yourself it is probably temporary. I know it is easier said than done. I'm here all the time if you want to talk. I don't have much to do since T took lots of things from me.

I can never be sure if it was gone or not when I hear the silence. Its a fucking mind game for me. As long as it doesn't stop me from doing something, I'm okay with its either gone or it just silent,or I'm habituated.
