I had a CT scan a couple months ago and the tech told me she'd had hyperacusis and tinnitus after the flu. She said it took about a year to go away, too. Kind of gave me a pinch of hope!

@Tinker Bell oh, thank you for being this nice and thoughtful <3 I still feel like in a roller coaster, one day %80 of my problems are gone, other day they are back with full force. Trying not to analyze too much and to keep myself busy.

Well, for the interview, they haven't called me back yet but...I try to keep my hope alive :)

@Tinker Bell And yes! I have actually started to hear more and more stories like that and I believe it is more than true that once people get better, they just don't try to inform other sufferers. They just move on. They are not on this website, they are outside, living beautiful lives.

Absolutely. I'm a bit superstitious, too. If I improve, I'd be too nervous to jinx myself by posting anything!
