@Foncky Because they are all a bunch of haters who are just jealous and envious of other family members' happiness and peace of mind.

Unfortunately the world is full of people like that Melike and they are often within families. Some hide it better than others. Just try and be a diplomat with them. We can choose our friends but we can't choose our family.

@Melike But you're not a hater, I believe you're a great person. Don't reply to hate with hate. I know it seems impossible sometimes but you always loose at one point when you hate someone.

@Foncky Thanks, this made me smile :)

You are right. It is true that I am incredibly angry at them, but it is impossible for me to hate them, I know. I am just VERY angry.

Time is a great healer Melike and you'll come through this. There is more than one way to skin a cat. Get the picture? I think you're smart enough not let them get the better of you. Dust yourself down keep smiling but always be on your guard.

The saying: There's more than one way to skin a cat means: There is more than one way to achieve one's goal. In Malike's case, she dislikes some members of her family for reasons she has mentioned. I have advised to try and rise above this and to be diplomatic as one can't choose their family. Be civil and amicable but be on her guard towards those that are not what they appear to be.

So you're going to skin a poor defenceless cat to achieve your goal? Are you some sort of psychopath?

For the last and final time the term is a saying a (euphemism) it does not mean to "skin a cat". I'm sorry if you don't understand I'm sure other people would. I have a pet cat and would never dream of skinning her I assure you. lol

I did suspect Paul was making fun of me Foncky and I even telephoned Glynis as she's a brit and we had a really good laugh about it. I explained that it has nothing to do with skinning a cat, yet Paul was convinced otherwise which led me to believe he knew all along what I really meant. I just played along....Hope you are keeping well.
