About
I have had tinnitus for 25+ years. No clear memory of how or when or in what circumstances it started.
I think my T is fairly loud but hearing is so subjective its hard to tell. Loud enough for it to sometimes make it difficult to hear other people talk. Its a constant hiss or hassshhh noise, like white noise, generally at higher pitches then lower ones. Its at the same loudness every day.
However, there are some days when I don't have tinnitus and I have worked out when these occur and why. In the past I also discovered two mechanisms that could make my tinnitus stop and stay away for the rest of the day. Consequently I have developed a theory about what T is, what make it and how to stop it. But, I need more data (information) about other people's experiences to test the theory.Interact
