@Equalizer in a sense yes. But you can either look at it in a way of suffering all the time or try to move on with life despite the conditions. Its quite common for many people to wallow in depression due to these problems. However many continue having a happy life despite T and H.
And those happy people are whom I am referring to. For they have found it in their heart and mind to get past the issue at hand and continue with their life.
@Red Preventing it from getting worse is most important at all costs. Just remember permanent spikes are much more rare than people bring them out to be. But temporary spikes can last for months.
They dont make me stronger, they make me weaker. They cause me more anxiety/stress. My view on life has been permanently changed. Never will i be that happy person i once was.
@dpdx I find that completely false. Much like every challenge we face we grow. Think of all the times in your life where you wanted something bad but it took lots of hard work. You suffered a lot and wanted to give up. But didn't.
Looking at life in such a pessimistic way just because of Tinnitus and Hyperacusis is not worth the energy long term. For it does hurt our quality of life but once we as people learn to move past it. The challenges we face become easier to overcome. Because no struggle could compare to T and H.
