        Hi Louise
Tinnitus can be scary at first, see this page from this website:
        https://www.tinnitustalk.com/panic/

Even the authors of this site say that the majority of Tinnitus cases resolves itself in time.
I have had T twice from noise trauma,1st time it went to zero in just under 2 years. My current Tinnitus has faded over 80% in 16 months and continues to fade.

Thank you so much. I have listened a bit. In am on anti depressants and anti amxiety med. I feel sure they increase the activity in the area of the brain where we hear noise so the perception of the noise is greater.

If you're not sure what is causing your T, it might be from a medication that you are taking. Some antidepressants can cause ringing as a side effect. I suggest doing some research on the meds you are on to see if they could be causing your ringing. There are drugs out there that can actually damage the ears ( Ototoxic). I have noticed certain meds do cause my Y to spike.
