One of the reasons why I hate my T is that it is very much a roadblock towards both my coping and treatment of chronic pain.

2018: Where you can't even trust a door not to explode in an unnecessary cacophony of ear shattering noise.

Really bad chronic pain flare up. Hurts too much to talk, smile, laugh, or pretty much do anything but lie here.

Compared to pain, tinnitus is a non-issue.

Tried out my new ear muffs today. Made bus ride much more tolerable. Very happy with them.
