I agree 100%. Even if they make a cure, hearing aids may still exist bc it is questionable for which stage this FX cure would be applicable.. Still, the need for it will be much lesser and I don't think that the companies will let themselves go down

If you are experiencing hyperacusis, don't do it yet bc hearing aids amplify sounds.. so it may hurt you. But if that is not the case and your hearing is really bad than go and get ones. That is the best option we have. Also, inform me about them and whether they are really helpful with understanding people speak

yes that is a sign of a hearing loss. You should get one. I am sorry you are experiencing this but your life does not end here. There are so many people with far worse hearing loss (up to 80%) and they still play music, even act.

When I saw all these actors I realized that hearing loss is a common thing and is not age related. I felt a little better bc now I know it is normal and I can still live with it.
