hi im a guy that woke up one mornning and both ears wer blocked i could hardly hear went to drs put on steroids for esr infection .this didnt work so was told to go hearing clinic,all fine there your realy deaf in right ear and not quite as bad in left air so ordered the best hesring aids i could bye problem solved NO a loud noise started in my right ear like a stormy night and waves crashing in on the beach went to drs was sent to specialist who sent me forhead scan wich came back no cancer but in waiting a lawn mower started up in my top of head along with crashing waves and got xtreem preasure build up in both ears i was a mess
then sent for cat scan nothing showed hearing aids out it was too much i was on a massive cotract to paint industrial buildings being built i couldnt manage dr tryd to get me seen by mental health thinking i would kill myself i wont do that to my kids and grand kids i lost everything financialy the next 12 mths so was really hurting
as well as this wich i dont know if this was tha begining of this i collapsed at work 8 mths earlier and was taken to hopital to be told i had auto imune type1 diabeetise
any way i went to auckland university for help at there diabetes clinc research and was told of noises introduced to my hearing aids but my brain competed with those noises i took genko 9000
and brought a course online wer i play diffrent noises into my headphones left ear right ear and both with realy loud background noises i have to realy concentrate and eventually i could hear and pickout the noises crickets horses drills etc i found this has realy helped
i had been told at the uni visit it would get more setaled 12mths down the track and that i had sever tinnitus more than one nois most times three and they never stop 24 7
ive been reading a book calledthe edge effect
and have read of gaba in our brains that lack of it could lead to tinnitus on reasearching gaba found a guy using gaba calm wich lead me to this site
so im a bit xcited at the mo and trying to make sence of all and everything
