Tinnitus makes itself present while I am active however if I lay still long enough it goes away and the silence returns, it has gotten to the point that I cannot sleep without it, I focus on it until it goes away, then I just wait for it to return, in this I find I can sleep at night, providing I didn't consume anything that would make sleep difficult.

An investigation into previous events that could have resulted in My tinnitus has raised another potential cause aside from fluid and allergies, prior to the Tinnitus I consumed 9 325mg Aspirin tablets, according to research and consultation from 3 different pharmacists this is just as likely to have resulted in My tinnitus as fluid/allergies.

Presently, the Headache that was the prelude to the Tinnitus has returned, however this time I seek more traditional methods of dispersal as I suddenly lost a desire for Aspirin, at least for the time being.

You offer a bit of hope, Holly1987, I must confess I somewhat recall had something similar happen to Me one year, I was away from home and alas unaware of any other symptoms as I was too busy fretting over what I assumed was a really bad flu, just My luck it was allergies, but I believe Tinnitus was also on that list.

I should also add it was preceded by a massive migraine and sensitivity to light, sound and smells... then the burning and ringing started.
