    Try not to monitor your T... This helps with paranoia. And remember that depending on the day, energy level, stress level etc. that T will fluctuate. Some days I have more tones than others as well. I think it would help folks to understand that this is normal, and usually isn't the result of further damage.

    @AZeurotuner I hope you are right that tones come and go....I have a new tone in my right ear and it has been there for a week :/ But maybe it is the hot weather, bad sleep, my slightly sore neck or something else....I am hoping it will go away eventually.
