Hey, I don't have tinnitus but I do have like a tight feeling and blocked feeling in my ears (after firework, 2018) . How long did it take to fade away?

@Mi1 possibly it's your middle ear muscles causing the tight feeling, probably also affecting your eustacian tubes causing ventilation issues making them feel blocked. It could be your ears trying to protect themselves from further damage. Go easy on the loud noise exposure.

I googled it, and it would appear that this is what people think happens in Hell. It would certainly be A way to make one feel horrible. In any case, are you saying we are all going to hell? :) We are already in hell. ;)

It can mean that you can still do better as you might have all the potentials , it is about regretting not going that extra mile :)

RFM. It’s been 2.5 years since your post. How are you doing now? I am very curious. Did you continue to get better, can you still hear the ringing?

I just started this tinnitus adventure. I also got it from a shotgun. Just one shot, no ear protection. Some good days I can only hear it if I close my ears, some bad days I hear it all the time. I am realizing the amount of sodium I have in the morning effects the level all day. I might make a post to share with other people, maybe it will help.

The bad days make me scared because I feel it got permanently louder.

Thank you for writing your story, it really made me feel better. I am wondering how your life is now. Do your ear problems effect your life?

Also when you say you had relapses and set backs, what happened?
Was there a loud noise that made you relapse, or was it just random?

        Thanks for your answers

        Hi LAnative,
You need to understand that life must go on , waiting to hear and compare T in your room will only make it worse. Get yourself busy with life activities. Avoid exposure to loud noises like shooting again , concerts , clubs for the coming months but do not hide in your room , go enjoy a glass of wine in a restaurant for example. T will fade and then you will search for it again believe me.

Hi, I think that I experience the same tinnitus that you have. So it was a relieve for me to read your succes story. Anyway my question for you is, isn't it better to slowly built up my activities? By the way yes I'm starting with yoga and Qi Gong next week.
      best regards from Amsterdam,

I'm glad that you read and liked my story :)

Sorry for missing your message but I never noticed that I have a wall for people to write on. and Yes I do agree go slowly on everything and by the time passes you will be back to your old habits and full activities.

Yoga and Qi Qong are amazing but be sure your enroll with a professional master not a regular trainer who teaches this for money.
