Hey, I read an old post of yours where you stated “I am looking into Celltex of Houston, Texas to consider trying adipose stem cells for H.” I was wondering if you ever went through with this, I am a Houston native struggling with loudness H (6 months now) , tinnitus and Dysacusis and desperate for help. I only recently graduated college and am pretty worried about my future. Thanks for any response!

No did not try Celltex. I tried a stem cell transplant locally near where I live but did not help.

Would you mind filling me in on what sort of stem cell treatment you got. Celltex is recommending I get IV stem cells, but another local doctor I’ve talked to wants me to get stem cells/exosomes injected through nose blood vessels which supposedly go directly to brain. Not sure which route to go.

I did adipose bone marrow. Basically the exact same thing Celltex does but but not as good. My stem cells were extracted from me (from my bone, but they can also be extracted from fat) and then injected back into me via IV the same day. Versus Celltex which extracts, waits about a month for the extracted cells to multiply greatly in number, and then injects back via IV.

It was a cool and lonely breezy afternoon

You could feel it 'cause it was the month of June

So I left my gate and went out for a walk

As I pass the dreadlocks camp, I heard them say

Hey lymebite I've learned so much from your posts I'm indebted. I know nobody can now but if you had to take a shot in the dark when will a cure for pain H.

Thanks for your kind words! I honestly don't know. I thought there was a chance FX-322 might help but that's had the big setbacks this year with the clinical trials. The reformulated version of retigabine / Trobalt that Thanos Tzounopoulos is working on could potentially help, but that feels like it is probably at least 5 years down the road.

Thanks for your response! Yea that was disheartening I didn’t have any auditory issues then but I’ve read the thread. I just wish I had regular tinnitus instead of pain H and distortions it’s so hard at times

Did you get bitten by a tick?

I thought maybe could be cause of H and T that started many years ago. Tests all came back negative though. I did get bit by one this year, pulled it out, sent it to lab, came back positive for Lyme, I took doxycycline to kill any Lyme.

Ok ty for your answer...I am sory for pain you have... God will help us if we pray sincerely .... I also pray that the test drugs fx322, oto313 and oto 413 be somewhat successful and that we do not wait for them for more than 2 years ...

Thanks for the reply ... have you had any success since lllt therapy ... my tinnitus and microphone started 2.5 months ago and now I will try the laser after all ... I hope it's not too late ...

I often have chronic 24/7 chronic ear pain. When the pain is especially bad I find the LLLT lessens the pain. It has not quieted my T.

@Aleksandar, as someone who tried LLLT with the Konftec but only had spike, I strongly suggest you try it for only 5 minutes the first time, as opposed to the recommended 30. I would wait a few hours and see if you spike - if you don't, move the duration up. When I did it for 30 minutes I had such a big spike it made me have a breakdown.

Hello, I just got a konftech emLas520B 808nm. I see that you Jen64 recommended that the caps on the diode be shortened to get a wider spectrum. Since I have the IR version, I can't check if I have enough sections and send a picture to check if it's enough to cut exactly above this edge of the base (3mm) .... Alex

        lymebite
I was never able to figure out how to cut them. I tried what people said to do but it did not affect the width of the spectrum.

      Hi lymebite,

I read about your experience with WNG's and how you couldnt tolerate them anymore. I had the same experience. How are you doing now?

Happy new year! Thank you for having provided insight into especially hyperacusis, an area that vastly lacks awareness and funding, both of which you've relentlessly rallied for and no doubt keep doing so.
