Can Tinnitus Caused by Hearing Loss Get Better Over Time?

I also lost my hearing in June last year, but it was due to guns. I've heard that sometimes it takes 1-3 years for things to improve for NIHL (and mine is strange since it happened so fast because of an acoustic trauma) but I am not entirely sure how things tend to play out for SSNHL. What...

Increased Perception After an Episode of Fleeting Tinnitus

Yes it happened alot to me at the beggining. Monitoring Fleeting Tinnitus, and evaluating if it became constant, or the sound did not decreased after some time. Sometimes thinking it could permantly affected my T. It was just anxiety. Today I still get fleeting Tinnitus but I just let it follow...

How Many Forms of Fleeting Tinnitus Have You Experienced?

Before developing "normal" T, I experienced fleeting T as an electrical buzzing once in a few months. Since T I have basically two types of fleeting sounds: One is when everything goes silent and a tonal eeeeee happens which is high frequency, but lower than my regular T. That lasts about 1-3...

Loud Tone for a Few Seconds — Fleeting / Transient Spontaneous Tinnitus

I think that the occurrences of 'fleeting T' happen to me more now since i got T than they ever did when I didn't have T. For instance before I had T I maybe got 'fleeting T' a handful of times a year. Now I get it 2-3 times a day.

    Dying Cells Myth

I remember hearing that fleeting T is the sound of one haircell dying. Once your fleeting T is over, you will never be able to hear that certain frequency again. By that logic, Chronic T must be haircells that are damaged (bent) but not dead. But I think it's more complex than so.
