@unknownpleasures im on Xbox . Usually play ultimate team
Woke up today to actual silence. Plugged my ears and I still wasn’t sure I could hear it. Anyone else ever get this ?
Is your H now completely gone? My pain is slowly going away but my ear clicking is still there
Not a great nights sleep but bad nights are less common these days. Guess I should be thankful for that ...
Think it does me good to take my mind off it and the excercise obviously
First proper bike ride since T . No ear pain etc so all good hopefully !
@Digital Doc agreed. He was pretty knowledgeable but mainly spoke of dr sensitisation. But either way it was nice to talk to someone who had heard...
Amazingly he had heard of hyperacusis and we had a good half hour chat about it
Well today was my reflex test appointment.
I explained my symptoms to the audiologist and he suggested it was a bad idea to do it so I didn’t...
@MattR yes on some days it was almost constant. Tingling/burning sensations as well. It came back for a week or so but it’s
Gone again for the...
I’ve had mine for 6 months in total. Pain went away about 4/5 months in.
Spasms to noise are still here though
So busy moving house today and yesterday I’ve barely noticed my T :0
How are they today?
Had quite a few quiet mornings when waking up . Hope this is a good sign
Was it the frequencies that didnt agree with you or the volume?
I used to get a tingling sensation around my ear as well. Its very on and off now and seems to be getting less and less. I dont have ear pain from...
Mine hasn’t gone yet but I’d also agree it’s gradual. Crisp packets for example used to make my ears spasm now they don’t
Ageee with all of those things apart from trolling success stories.
Cannot see the point in that personally
Hello. It has slightly yeah. Certain sounds that made them spasm don’t seem to as much now.& have good and bad days
There’s also a poll on here something like 60% of people didn’t have any bad effects ? Not disputing that it has affected some though...
To rule out a tumour. They also suggested an acoustic reflex test but I think I’ll pass on that one
Why the hostility? I’ve only stated I’ve had one with double protection and had no ill effects ?
It’s hard to tell. I had foam ear plugs in that they provided and then over ear defenders.
It would have been loud without those
Just had my MRI. No bad effects that I’ve noticed.
It was a new hospital so I’m guessing it was a modern machine.
@Lynny completely agree. The initial stages of tinnitus are terrifying I found myself re reading success stories as they have me hope.
How do topics like this always end up in a contest of who has got it severe and who hasn’t
I guess it is! My spasms seem to be getting less but then the odd day they come back again
Don’t want to jinx it but I’m assuming it’s a positive
Realised today that crisp packets and the microwave beep feels okay to my ears. Progress ...

@Strife_84 I suggest you stay at home with tin foil on your head
@Strife_84 good for you :)
I’m not convinced going to a movie counts as insane behaviour ...
Glad you enjoyed it!
Personally I’d say go but take ear plugs. If you feel the need to pop them in
that gives me hope im about 6 months in... was yours noise induced? did you have any ear spams/twitching to noises?
Not as expensive as I was expecting.
I haven’t used CBT as I haven’t felt the need but my point is that if it helps people then it must have some merit.
I’m not talking specifically...
I don't see why people bash CBT on here...
Some people find it useful in the absence of any other treatment/cure. I'm not sure if people would...
If Lenire can get my T permanently down to my “just woke up can barely hear it level” I’ll be over the moon
What if you can’t tell? How would you tell this?
FIFA 19 is my game of choice at the moment
@Rafaa ear drum type spasms when I stop talking or am exposed certain sudden noises.
Amazing! Congrats mate
@kelpiemsp no worries! That’s amazing. Was your tinnitus quite mild to start with? Mine's relatively mild so hoping Lenire can knock it out.
@kelpiemsp I’ve read a few of your posts on this treatment modality. Has the improvement been long term for you?
I have relatively mild tinnitus and intermittent hyperacusis and ear spasms. If it can cut my tinnitus down, that would be one hurdle overcome.
Exciting times hopefully...
Mine is mainly in the right. If I plug each ear separately the right seems to be louder
Closest to silence I’ve experienced so far this morning. High pitched eeeee was gone completely ?! Then returned
Hello. No I’d say mine is ok average 2 and sometimes a 3. When I wake up in the morning it’s sometimes a 1. Which makes me hopefull that it’s fading
I hope so. My tinnitus is thankfully quite mild so not sure if Lenire would have a big impact on it?
@Heinrich_S7 I hope so! That would be a miracle for me.
Anyone tried Wind-Blox? I’ve bought some but haven't been out on my bike yet.
