1st Week with Tinnitus, Advice or Any Tips You Can Give?

Hi again, I hope you guys are doing great and as of me I've just been reading a lot of stuff about the tinnitus, you know educating myself to actually understand what it is, and i kinda want to ask what are some good steps that i can take within my 1st week of this annoying situation that I have.

I haven't gone to ENT yet cause I still have to wait for 2 weeks before my GP give me the go sign. Before then I'd like to do some action regarding this, and this is the right place for that. Hope to hear your thoughts about this.

Man, for an introvert I never thought that id finally like some kind of companionship even just over in the internet, this tinnitus made me begged for that and that is definitely saying a lot.

Current mood: unhappy but moving on

 

Did you get your earwax taken care of yet?

 

Yeah I did this last Thursday, just on the right ear though because it's clogged by ear wax.

 

Well there's good chance it will go away soon. Hope for the best

Yeah I watch all the time. Tinnitus still really sucks though.

 

@Clark Your tinnitus will most likely go away, because the brain will rewire itself to adapt to the restored hearing once the ear wax is removed.

Sort of. It's best not to. The only place people are allowed to do it is on MPP.

 

Just take one day at a time, and dont think much of the past (if you regret your past without T it can really hurt your moral) or the future (it might go away get less intrusive or you can just habituate) and try to keep your mind busy on stuff you like just live in the present hope it can help a little
