      exposure to noise
I know it's too late for most things, but is there anything I can try know that won't work later? It's still very unstable, and though I think I don't have H yet, I'm getting mild pain in the ear sometimes, so I'm afraid it's going to get worse.

About HBOT and steroids, is there any evidence that they can help at my stage (2 months)?

I dont think steroids will do much now...sorry :/ maybe you can try and sign up for am 101?
I too have T from noise exposure and I get pain in my ear sometimes, doesnt bother me tough, I rather take pain than the fricking noise....
The pain fades away though after a short amount of time.... I wouldnt worry about still getting H. I had moderate H in the beginning and now it faded. If you would get H, it would have been there when the T started as well.

I know that feeling that you want to try everything as long as ur still in the acute phase. But HBOT is a controversial treatment. i personally went, and would still go, for the less expensive stuff. Like Ginko Biloba, Vitamin B complex, and maybe zinc and vitamin D.

Hello, I am into this 2 months too and have some questions -
      (1) Is H definitely going to happen if I have T ? Is it a rule or just happens in some cases
      (2) I have some pain and burning and ear fullness occassionally.....is that natural in T ?

      Thanks, Mita

My audiometry (up to 8kHz) says my hearing is normal.
