5 Days with Tinnitus

Hello everyone its been 5 days with T. Currently I have no sleeping issues because I had sleeping issues a while back with another disorder which made me habituate to annoyances while sleeping. No issue with sleeping its like a sleeping song for me now.

Its just that its heartbreaking to hear it every morning and night, thinking that it could have been different. While also being very afraid that it could go worse. Im living in a very Urban area and studying at a very busy University. There are loud noises all around me.

The ENT appointment is in a month and I have so much frustration because of this. I live in the Netherlands and healthcare is awful here... they just dont care about it anymore as the government cuts funding for something so important.
I feel like I have to do something but cant.

How did you get it? Take steroids, still time

 

Was listening to music, not so loud I think. Cant hear a lot.

What do you mean with steroids?
Im not sure about taking drugs because of their side effects.

And my physician my doctor just never wants to be helpful !

 

Go to a PRIVATE ENT (it won't cost more than a few hundred €s) and get steroids

 

I have had T for 9 years now. It will get better in time I promise you.

 

Steroids as in Drugs? I dont want be a junkie

 

Guess i am just used to mine now, i have no real emotional reaction to it, it's just there. You will get there with time.
