What are the possible causes of 50 Hz - 300 Hz tinnitus?

Do you have low frequency tinnitus? Do you know the cause?

Possible causes for low frequency tinnitus are pretty much the same as for any type of tinnitus. In addition there's Menieres disease, which typically effects your lower end hearing and can cause low frequency tinnitus, and tinnitus in general.

There's a long thread about low frequency tinnitus here in TT, you can find it using the search.

Meniere's is not a real disease, it is a symptoms list that have specific cause like virus (herpes) / autoimmune / allergies etc.

Have anyone found or knows the cause of his/her low frequency tinnitus?

I have observed low frequency tinnitus since the weather is good and all people get their motorcycles & a lot of aeroplanes fly every 5 mins near my house.

Can these sources of low frequency noise have caused my low frequency tinnitus ?

Low frequency noise is very difficult to stop you can hear it also with earmuffs/earplugs
