      Ear infection
Hello, I have tinnitus since 2009, it is very stable

The problem is that I have a gastritis caused by the bacterium helicobacter pyroli

I have to take 3 different antibiotics for 14 days to eradicate the infection:
      AMOXICILLIN: 1 g per day
      CLARITHROMYCIN: 1 g per day
      TINIDAZOLE: 1 g per day

Amoxcilin I tolerate it well, the problem is tinidazole, it has already given me vertigo when I used it for a dental abscess

I also read somewhere that clarithromycin is ototoxic and can make tinnitus worse ...

I'm really scared that these antibiotics worsen my tinnitus, I have tolerated it very well for years, this tinnitus has already almost made me crazy when it was aggravated due to a lot of stress (but it returned to normal a few days after)

      Probably sound, though never proven
Any "mycin (micin)" has potential ototoxicity. Far less likely with oral dosing.
