So last night I started shaking like I was in shock cause of this stupid thumping noise on top of my tinnitus I was really scared this was my worst night is there any cure for this?

Or am I gonna have to try to live with this?

Cause I'm really scared for it and can't get no sleep tried staying up last night to watch YouTube and just couldn't cause of my depression anxiety.

Will a hearing aid mask the thumping?

Cause that's the last thing I'm prob gonna try cause I can calm myself down at nights sometimes saying it's ok I'm gonna live with this then it just gets so annoying I get depressed and get anxiety and start to shake like I'm going into shock.

I had plenty of support and stuff when I first came here with my tinnitus but it's like people don't care much anymore on this site, so please can someone at least tell me I'm gonna be fine and the thumping noise will go away or I won't notice it anymore hopefully and I hope everyone has a nice day unlike me

I wish it will go away, meanwhile you might try masking it at the worst times with earpods or maybe a fan or any other masking method when sleeping?

trying to calm down this morning I only hear the thumping 1-2 min in the morning or if I swallow a lot it kicks up hoping it's just a inflamed nerve or something Cause wouldn't pulsate tinnitus be constant?

Eric I understand. I am rather new here for support but guess I am considered a "veteran". Yes the thumping noise sensation will go away or ease up so you will not notice it as much. Try to have a good day by holding on to the experiences of others getting through this. I was the same way with each new unexpected symptom. Panic attacks are scary. Relaxation techniques do help when practiced often. I think there are many U Tube examples since you mentioned you watched them.

Breathe in a breath of positive if possible.

You are going to be just fine.

What's weird is when I wake up in the morning my left ear fluttering thumping stops and my right ear starts vibrating like the eardrum then I think around 10:00 my left ear starts back up again but I am actually calmer when my right ear starts doing it cause it is not as bad and it goes away weird stuff our bodies do but I still need to go to a appointment to check my ears cause my left ear won't pop and I think it has fluid or something behind it cause it feels full and thanks that's all i wanted to know if I can handle it hopefully after a year it won't bother me so much and my bro has a fish tank in the back room where I sit and watch tv, YouTube and that makes it go off too

I think you are doing a great job handling this so far. It isn't easy in the beginning stages. I remember this very well and it has been a long time since 2002 for me.

Good that you have an appointment to have things checked out. I hated that "fullness" sensation. It is disorientating. And it is scary when you experience it so early on after getting tinnitus.

So your feelings are validated Eric. But know this will pass and then the focus on it eases up.

The problem is tinnitus was actually easy for me to get over took me about 6 months and I finally came out of my room this is not like tinnitus cause u can feel it too how am I suppose to get over something u feel in your ear had to quit smoking my weed cause it made it go crazy and I had to do the same thing with tinnitus but I was able to start smoking it again and on top of this I have really bad acid reflux my gall bladder is gone and I always have some kind of stomach problems and waking up shivering when it's hot in my room and being scared makes it go through the roof and then I can't go back to sleep this is the scariest I have ever been tinnitus was nothing compared to this annoying thing

See if sleeping with a extra pillow will help the acid reflux .
Im sure your ear will settle down over time and its a good sign its not all day long so somthing is triggering it...

Are you being seen by a doctor for the acid reflux and stomach issue? I know both are not easy to deal with. And this recent anxiety probably triggers those symptoms.

Being scared is really awful. Especially at night when it is dark and quiet.

Glynis has a good idea about elevating your head'upper shoulder area with an extra pillow.

So I have had tmj for the past 5 years and my left bite is off and I just swooshed some listerine around while I was brushing my teeth hour ago and the thumping disappeared but when I went in to a so called tmj specialist he said there is nothing wrong with my jaw how every time I open and close my mouth it clicks and sometimes I can't even open my mouth I'm thinking tmj has something to do with it tho but idk how I am gonna get it fixed

See Your dentist again or Maxillofacial specialist about your bite .
My jaw cracked and crunched for years and needed a day guard and night guard and was also fitted the criteria for surgery.
I have had some dental work done in the last few months and this has helped a little but was not the cause of my tinnitus but must add to it...lots of love glynis

      @Eric Fridley
Do not put these in your ear if they have expired. In fact, do not put anything in your ear until you have seen a doctor.
You have many tiny blood vessels in your nose. If you blow to hard, you might rupture them which is why your nose may be bleeding.
      Take care.

Sounds like you have a bit of inner ear twitching. This often occurs after swallowing or burping and sometimes after stretching. It can go on for quite a while. There are a couple of little muscles in the middle ear which can thud against the eardrum. I have it occasionally. V difficult to sleep with.

I talk to so much people saying if your jaw clicks and hurts it's tmj I know I have it cause most the times I can't even open my mouth and scared my mouth will lock up on me
