      Long duration of low audio
I am thinking about trying to listen to music again by notching the files and cutting out anything above 8 kHz since my tinnitus is at 11 kHz in hopes that it will not cause a spike or damage.

But I feel I should also run it through some decent equipment so that it's cleaner without electrical noise hiding in the audio.

I'm looking for suggestions on how to do this. I figure some kind of tube amp and a quality DAC is needed.

Also what about the source. Would playing the file from a computer still be ok as the amp and DAC would still filter any garbage out or are their other better source options.

      Any input would be appreciated.

      Thanks
