If I apply pressure below ear the pounding heartbeat stops. I am thinking if we have something that can apply pressure to that area while we are sleeping, this could help.

Has anyone tried this? What did you use?

I can't hold my fingers there forever and this is the only thing to make it stop. Thanks!

Your description is not precise enough to give a reasonable answer.
How do you apply pressure? Where ist below the ear?....

I think it could help, but my concern is: depending on the cause of your tinnitus, it may not be wise.

I can apply pressure to stop the sound, too, but sometimes it seems to hurt, or cause a radiating pain. This worries me as it makes me think "what if the PT is caused by something vascular and applying pressure to the artery / neck area is not good for that".

Make sure you run it by a specialist.
