Are There Treatments for Somatic Tinnitus?

My tinnitus is noise-induced to begin with but I have a high pitch part (I have more than one sound) that is affected by neck and jaw movements. If I apply pressure with my fingers behind my left ear the high pitch noise disappears and no sound is heard when I move my neck and jaw.

Can this information be used by a specialist doctor to treat this somehow?

Is there some good research that has been done regarding somatic tinnitus that can be helpful?
