My hearing is good like really really good which is kinda ironic.

I did all kinds of hearing tests, my ENT said it's fine too. I sometimes listen to music, and no I don't blast my ears, I use headphones for like 10-20 minutes when I'm going home and coming to school, not loud.

Just wondering do I have a higher risk of losing my hearing than let's say someone who doesn't have tinnitus?

I don't think so to be honest. I find it strange that many articles link tinnitus to hearing loss because hey don't go into why someone has tinnitus.

If you experienced a very loud noise like a gunshot next to the ear without protection, then yes you may have experienced hearing loss, but the subsequent tinnitus doesn't suggest furthering hearing loss, rather the outcome of said scenario.

There are plenty of people such as myself who believe their tinnitus came from stopping a certain drug for example.
