      Hi everyone one.

Can idiopathic tinnitus go away? Been looking at lot of of success stories and there are not very many that seem very promising, 'it's very loud, but I eventually got used to living with it'.

I guess those who got it from a acoustic trauma, stress, have got a better chance then the rest have us?

      Opinions please, and thanks.

Hi Alex - Your tinnitus is rather new? Not sure why you feel that your tinnitus is idiopathic.

I do get idiopathic extremely loud spikes (age factor) that can last weeks to months. I'm going thru one now. I sometimes need sulodexide treatment for another problem that has to be just brief treatment. It does lower my idiopathic spike or tinnitus considerably.

It hasn't got any better. They told me it was stress related but it has been constant (ups and downs) for 40 days and no signs of getting any better. Driving me nuts most of the day. Thanks for your reply

I apologise, I didn't realize what it meant. lack of concentration and frustration it must be....My tinnitus is between 4-5-6 that just won't stop. Need time to get used to it....
