I woke up to the sound like a tv is on and i assumed it is typical tinnitus. I ask my family if they hear it and first they said no then she said wait....is your tv on :wideyed: i am stunned then she makes the noise of exactly what i am hearing and said is it that ;o she pulled out my plugs and she still hear it. Then she look at me and said u listen to silence too much and walk out. This is the not the first time what i heard other ppl heard when they focused. In fact my hearing is one of a dog. What cant i hear is the question? Someone explain this too me!!:arghh::arghh::arghh:
      Good morning btwo_O

      Cause of Tinnitus:
      ototoxicity/infection
Its normal...almost all people can hear some sort of sound in complete silence. . Brain makes up for lost signal input. .
That is why T and hearing loss are linked..
My understanding gradual loss brain gets use to it..sudden hearing loss brain makes up for lost signal..

I dont really understand whether you are saying that other people hear your tinnitus or other people have tinnitus. There is a type of tinnitus that is called objective tinnitus and that can be heard by others. It is very rare though and you should get it checked out by other people. If you mean that other people have tinnitus as well, then yes, around 10% of the population do and if focusing we all can imagine all sorts of stuff.
