Can Sildenafil (Viagra, Revatio) Make Your Tinnitus Worse?

Is there anyone here that takes Viagra and has no issues with their tinnitus?

Does it affect your tinnitus and if it does, does the change in your tinnitus occur immediately when you take it or a few days or weeks later? And can you mention your dosage please!

I'm kind of young (30) and don't yet have erectile issues, but previously looked into this matter for reasons of vanity and impressing a certain woman.

So there certainly is a risk.

 

Tinnitus is brain damage, it affects one's libido.

I recommend a "spinner" and see if that does the trick with out the aid of any drugs.
I met a nice guy in town who lost his hearing from Cialis, a kind of Viagra, but he never mentioned tinnitus. These wood stiffeners appear to be ototoxic.

 

Does anyone take Sildenafil? Does it effect your tinnitus or do you find it is okay?

There aren't any good alternatives to PDE5 inhibitors, and Sildenafil has one of the shorter half lives.

 

Start with a low dose, like 20mg, that stuff gave me high-pitched tinnitus out of the blue one night after a 60mg dose.

Effortless erections are awesome, but not at the expense of a 24/7, 13k hiss in your head!

Thankfully it subsides eventually, but it can take weeks. I’ve been through it twice now in the last 10 months, and am backing WAY off on that stuff. It’s just not worth it...
