It's been 11 days since T started, I see that's it's lower in volume "knock on wood" however, I'm visiting my parents in Ohio, we are going to the casino. I will be wearing ear plugs... Is this a good idea? I'm so nervous!!

I always carry plugs with me in case things get loud.

My experiences with casinos in vegas was that they were not that loud, maybe 70db ambient with occasional spikes to 75.

I have loud tinnitus for 10 weeks now after a loud rock concert and we went to a local casino last night. It was 75db on avg. I stayed away from the loud parts. Did not wear plugs. When I got home I did notice a small spike in my T but it went away quickly. I did wake up this morning with a small spike also.

I agree with the others that most casinos will be okay in terms of the noise level. The only thing to maybe watch out for is live music which some casinos sometimes have.

Just always have your plugs with you. Should be fine.

Sorry to be frank but going to concert wit no ear plugs with tinnitus is asking for lifetime trouble, please never complain after, if you have tinnitus ear plugs are your lifetime companion, does not mean wear them all the time, but loud noise is a constant danger

And never be afraid of a calculated situation, that makes zero sense, bring earplugs be happy if no noise, use them if it's too loud.. simply logic, anxiety is never appropriate where logic prevails
