This drug did nothing at all for me.
Hi all, I am newly diagnosed and have been given stugeron 15 tablets 2 to be taken 3 times a day. I'm a bit confused as to reading the leaflet do I have to leave a 8 hour gap between each dose? Might be a silly question but it says in the leaflet about missed doses and leaving a gap so I don't know if I should take it every 8 hours. Thanks in advance.
You take 3 tablets a day. If you miss your dosage, forget about it and take the next dosage until the next day. You might feel pretty tired on the medication as well, but its very normal.
Thanks, I am on 6 tablets a day just wondered if they have to be taken in 8 hour intervals. .Yes they are making me pretty tired
The fans were what helped. This medication did nothing to the T for me.
I take mine at 9am 4pm and 10am. I think they've helped reduce the volume a bit, like I find it quite a bit easier to ignore the T. I think so anyway.I dont feel particularly drousy though. Well not more drowsy then normal.
I’m afflicted with erosive gastritis, I wonder if Stugeron 75mg, taken with dinner, might worsen my condition. For those who have taken this medication: has it given you stomach issues, did it help your tinnitus and/or improve your sleep? I would appreciate your comments on the matter. Thanks a lot.
Anyone know is it only effective (or possibly effective) depending on cause of tinnitus?
Cinnarazine 15mg is the only medication that states that it can reduce tinnitus how ever the medication if for Menieres .
I can take 2 up to 4 times a day and can help reduce tinnitus.
Will it help other causes of tinnitus ?
I don't know but your doctor could trial you on it to see if it helps.
Thanks Glynis. You take it for Menieres you mean?
...also does it make you very drowsy?
Do you have any information about Cinnarizine 15 mg? If it could help lower tinnitus for people without Meniere's but who have tinnitus in their head?
This is one of the only medications that states that it helps tinnitus.
Sir, can Cinnarizine be taken with other meds? For sleep?
Yes you can but check with your doctor first on what you take.
It didn't help me, either in terms of PREVENTING dizzy turns or for tinnitus with Meniere's Disease. Indeed, some authorities say it is a bad idea to be damping down your vestibular reflexes with this medication, when they are already compromised: my balance is already poor.
I do still have some on standby to take in the event of an acute dizzy turn coming on, where it may possibly reduce the severity and duration of the attack.
