City Dwellers vs Urbanites and Noise Levels

Do you think city dwellers with tinnitus are better off than urbanites since they are exposed to more noise?

My tinnitus occurs only when it's really quiet, and it's always quiet where I live. My house feels sound proofed.

Anyone that moved back and forth - can you comment on your tinnitus levels?

 

I don't think a loud city will help you with this. That loud noise, could possibly increase your tinnitus. I'd love to have your situation(Low tinnitus volume)....

 

i think living in a city helps with masking - we have a city house and a cottage and the cottage makes it more apparent . unless u have a very sensitive case the city should not increase severity.
